For too long now Lea Village which was established as a village long before Kitts Green, all this time it has existed without an official name, no road sign and not even mentioned on the map. Other than a road known as "Lea Village" which stretches from the bridge at Lea Hall Road down to Gressel Lane there is no other mention of it.

To many passing through here,  it's just another place in Birmingham and is known as Kitts Green - This is incorrect and needs to be set right.

The goal is to finally get Lea Village officialy recognised as a place in Birmingham that is now more than 736 years old.
